About the Role
We're seeking a data-driven and hands-on Sr Manager on our Card Credit Risk team to lead line management strategy for our card portfolio - owning credit line increase (CLI), decrease (CLD), and closure policy end-to-end. In this role, you'll design and evolve CLI policy for both early and mature accounts, using a combination of internal and external data, along with business judgment and strategic thinking, to size and value line changes and refine existing policy over time. You will track line management program performance by vintage and portfolio segment, surface emerging trends, and iterate quickly on policy design. You will partner with the business, product, and other partner teams to deliver holistic and integrated business outcomes. Your work will enhance portfolio performance, advance our ability to competitively serve customers, and ensure predictable and strong returns from our Card product.
This role is based in either our Wilmington or San Francisco Office on a hybrid basis.
What You'll Do
Serve as the SME for Card line management, including CLI, CLD, and closures
Take an integrated view of the business in developing CLI eligibility and increase amount policies, balancing revenue opportunity and credit losses
Own Credit Line Decrease (CLD) and closure policy, including triggers and treatment, as/if needed
Monitor CLI program performance by segments and other dimensions to identify emerging trends
Design and deploy policy enhancements based on internal data, industry/macro trends, and business judgement
Partner with data science team to develop and enhance line assignment models, including risk and utilization models
Design and deploy testing to inform future modeling, policy, business insights
Evaluate, design, and launch tests or innovations to CLIs, including, but not limited to new CLI timing, reactive CLI, and interactive CLI
Partner across the organization to facilitate effective CLI program outcomes, such as through enhanced income collection
Partner with the business, product, marketing and other partner teams to deliver holistic and integrated business outcomes
What We Look For
5-7+ of experience in consumer finance, consulting, or other data-driven backgrounds
Experience with credit and analytics, particularly credit line management / CLI policy in a credit card context
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, strategic recommendations
Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python
Familiarity with LLMs and AI-enabled innovation
The ability to identify and articulate business intuition in the data

The compensation range of this position is USD $140,000-190,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Please note that the actual base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
