How we verify jobs and score ghost risk.
OyaPilot works in a distrusted category, so the way it works should be legible, not a black box. Here is exactly where our jobs come from, how we judge whether a posting is real, and the rules our AI follows on your behalf.
Pulled straight from the source
Never scraped
Verified APIs only. No big-board scraping, no ban risk.
Where our jobs come from
Every job on OyaPilot is pulled directly from the company’s own applicant tracking system or an approved API. A posting that lives on a company’s own careers system is the single strongest signal that the job is real and active.
Avoiding scraped boards also keeps both you and us on the right side of those platforms’ rules, which is why our users do not get flagged or banned.

How we score ghost risk
A “ghost job” is a posting unlikely to lead to a hire. We score it on evidence, not vibes: how long a role has been open or how often it has been reposted, whether it names a real team and concrete outcomes versus boilerplate, its recency on the official ATS, and any scam-channel signals.
We always show the reasons and a confidence level. Ghost-risk and your fit stay two separate scores, never blended into one misleading number.
- Live 9 days on the official ATS
- Names the team and concrete outcomes
- No repost or scam-channel signals
Truthful tailoring, our hard rule
When OyaPilot tailors your résumé, it may rephrase, reorder, and emphasize your real experience and align keywords you truthfully hold. It will never invent a skill, title, employer, date, or fact you do not have, at any flexibility setting.
You see every change as a diff before it is sent, and the output stays ATS-safe: single-column, selectable text, standard headings, nothing that breaks a résumé parser.
Sharper wording, same facts. Every line traces back to your real experience.
How current the data is
Our pages reflect the open roles we have ingested from verified sources, refreshed on a regular cycle. Counts like “open roles” and “posted in the last two weeks” are computed from that corpus as of the latest refresh.
We deliberately keep thin or low-signal pages out of search, so what you find is substantive, not filler.
Thin pages (under 3 roles) are kept out of search.
You stay in control
OyaPilot is review-by-default: nothing is submitted on your behalf unless you opt into Autopilot, which only touches guest-submittable career-page forms, is capped, and logs every action.
We store no platform passwords, your data is isolated to your account and exportable or deletable any time, and cancelling is one click, as easy as signing up.
Common questions
Where do OyaPilot job listings come from?
Directly from companies’ own applicant tracking systems and approved APIs like Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, and Workable. We do not scrape LinkedIn, Indeed, or other aggregators, so the postings are real and active, and you are not exposed to ban risk.
How does OyaPilot decide if a job is a ghost job?
Each posting gets an evidence-based ghost-risk read: how long it has been open or how often it has been reposted, whether it names a real team and concrete outcomes versus generic boilerplate, its recency on the official ATS, and any scam-channel signals. We show the reasons and a confidence level, not just a number.
Will OyaPilot lie or exaggerate on my résumé?
Never. Tailoring may rephrase, reorder, and emphasize your real experience and align truthfully-held keywords, but it will not invent a skill, title, employer, date, or fact you do not have, at any setting. You review every change as a diff before it is used.
