About the role

What You'll Do

Manage and grow relationships with existing dealership partners within your assigned territory

Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive retention and revenue growth

Analyze dealership performance data to identify opportunities and recommend solutions

Present APCO/GWC products and value proposition to align with dealer needs

Negotiate renewals and contract terms to retain and expand business

Build relationships with key decision-makers across dealership leadership teams

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high level of service and partner satisfaction

Travel regularly within your region to meet with dealership partners

You’ll be successful in this role if you are a relationship-driven sales professional who takes a strategic, consultative approach to account management. You’re able to understand the full picture of a dealership’s business, identify opportunities for growth, and align solutions that deliver measurable results.

You’re also analytical and proactive, using data and insights to guide conversations and influence decisions. You build trust quickly, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and are confident navigating complex conversations around performance, strategy, and contract terms.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of automotive industry outside sales experience

Proven experience in consultative, relationship-based sales or account management

Strong understanding of dealership operations and F&I products

Valid driver’s license with ability to travel extensively (up to 75%)

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in F&I management, dealership leadership, or performance consulting

Knowledge of reinsurance, retro programs, and back-end dealership operations

Bachelor’s degree

Experience analyzing business performance data and developing strategic plans
