Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

Analysis and reconciliation of various general ledger accounts including accruals and other liabilities.

Work directly with the corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team located in Austin, Texas to ensure proper accrual of vendor liabilities and that amounts accrued are properly supported.

Calculation and recording of balance sheet hedge accounting

Calculation of transfer pricing journal entries and reconciliation of all intercompany accounts

Ensure proper accounting for payroll activities.

Prepare journal entries and ensure proper supporting documentation is retained.

Ensure compliance with the company's key accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.

Maintain cross-departmental relationships with relative business stakeholders to ensure awareness of all accounting implications of business transactions.

Adhere to monthly close deadlines and requirements.

Research and analyze accounting fluctuations.

Assist in various analysis, initiatives and ad hoc projects in support of financial reporting requirements.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

2-3 years of accounting experience (including month end close, booking journal entries, performing reconciliations, etc.)

Strong attention to detail and organization

Analytical problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.)

Excellent language skills in written and spoken English.

Experience in NetSuite or similar accounting system is desired.
