Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential issues and implement solutions proactively to mitigate risks.

Skills & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience: 6-8 years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role, preferably in a SaaS environment.

Advanced proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Aha!).

Strong understanding of market research and competitive analysis.

Strong technical aptitude – Comfortable working with technical systems, reading API documentation, understanding data models, and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

API fluency – Confident using and troubleshooting REST APIs, interpreting payloads, and understanding how systems integrate.

Enjoys getting into the details – Naturally curious and willing to dive deep into complex payroll, award interpretation, and edge-case scenarios to find the right solution.

Analytical problem solver – Able to break down ambiguous compliance or product problems into clear, actionable requirements.

Product mindset – Balances technical depth with customer outcomes, helping translate compliance complexity into scalable product capabilities.

Payroll and compliance knowledge (preferred) – Experience with payroll systems, employment legislation, awards/EBAs, or pay compliance is highly desirable, but can be learned by someone with strong technical and analytical skills.

Ownership and curiosity – Takes initiative, asks good questions, and is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where requirements evolve.
