Organizational Change Specialist

What You'll Do:

Change Strategy & Planning Support

Support the development and implementation of change management strategies aligned with business objectives

Assist in conducting impact assessments and readiness evaluations to identify potential risks and barriers

Help build change plans that address the people side of organizational transformation

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in

Support the facilitation of workshops, meetings, and engagement sessions to promote understanding and commitment

Partner across teams and functions to ensure coordination on change activities

Messaging & Training

Design and deliver clear, targeted messaging plans for impacted audiences

Develop training materials in partnership with the Learning & Development function and coordinate learning sessions to support adoption

Craft content that is accessible, engaging, and tailored to diverse audiences

Monitoring & Reporting

Track progress of change initiatives and measure adoption rates

Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership on change effectiveness

Identify gaps in adoption and recommend strategies to address them

Continuous Improvement

Identify lessons learned and best practices for future change initiatives

Support the development of a change management culture within the organization

Help create and grow a Community of Practice to transform how Protolabs approaches change

Engagement — Draft, coordinate, and deliver clear messaging that supports change initiatives and keeps stakeholders informed

Collaboration — Partner across teams and functions to build relationships and ensure alignment on change activities

Support — Assist senior change practitioners in planning and executing change strategies, training plans, and stakeholder engagement efforts

Resourcefulness — Proactively seek out information, identify gaps, and bring forward ideas to improve how we connect with and support people through change

Learning & Growth — Develop foundational skills in change management, project coordination, and organizational development with mentorship and hands-on experience

What It Takes:

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Change Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field — or comparable experience.

2+ years of professional experience in any industry or function. Candidates with diverse backgrounds and transferable skills who are interested in pursuing a career in Organizational Change are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.

Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.

Proficiency in Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and Outlook; familiarity with AI technologies.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing business needs.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.

Demonstrated empathy, curiosity, and a passion for helping people navigate change.
