About the role
Core Responsibilities
Understand Palantir's relationship with its US government customers and provide advice and counsel in support of Palantir's business goals.
Draft and negotiate contracts and license agreements.
Advise on product development issues, compliance, intellectual property rights, data privacy, conflicts of interest, and more.
Develop and implement strategies to manage and resolve government inquiries. Exercise initiative and creativity in solving challenges.
What We Value
Passion for cutting-edge technology and working on complex challenges in the federal government space.
Experience with government contracting, software licensing, or regulatory compliance is a bonus.
Experience monitoring federal legislative and regulatory developments and advising internal stakeholders is a plus.
Prior experience in government with exposure to policy development, especially AI policy, or regulatory processes is a plus.
Strong preference for candidates based in DC or NY.
Active security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
What We Require
J.D. degree, active bar license.
3 to 10+ years of firm, in-house, or government experience (a combination is even better).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and commitment to working on a team rather than in a silo.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to propose creative solutions to novel issues.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
