About the role
What To Expect In This Position
Direct and quality-control AI-assisted regulatory monitoring in the area of EU policy, verifying accuracy and flagging what the platform misses or gets wrong before it reaches a client
Collect, structure and analyse data to help calibrate and improve FiscalNote's own digital tools and public affairs platform, contributing directly to product accuracy and development in an iterative process
Translate AI-generated monitoring and analysis into client-relevant insight, including flash reports and briefings, and support issues-management work
Gain in-depth knowledge about EU legislation and specific EU procedures
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail and tight deadlines, including quality-assurance checkpoints on AI-generated deliverables before client delivery
Provide input to the Business Development Team and participate in internal projects
Work both independently and as part of a small team
What Sets You Apart
Master's in EU Law or EU Affairs/Politics
Good understanding of EU legislative procedures and regulatory processes
Knowledge of EU politics and policymaking
Comfort using and critically evaluating AI-assisted research and monitoring tools curious about how technology can improve intelligence gathering, without taking its output at face value
Ability to write policy briefings, flash reports, and long-form analysis to a consistently high standard
Experience working in EU public or regulatory affairs is an advantage
Native or equivalent written and spoken English, plus other EU languages
Enjoy being part of a fast-paced, and dynamic team
