About the role
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead Tier 2 technical teams supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
Manage performance optimization, tool integration, and architecture enhancement.
Oversee software updates, patch management, and release documentation.
Serve as the primary technical advisor to the Program Manager.
Review system logs, analyze trends, and recommend technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
6+ years in senior-level network engineering or architecture.
CCNP or equivalent certification.
Proven leadership and troubleshooting expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
CCIE and ITIL v3 certifications.
DHS or Federal enterprise experience.
Place of Performance
Springfield and Ashburn, VA (with possible travel to Orlando, FL, and other CBP facilities).
Clearance
Must have favorably passed a full five (5) year background investigation (BI) required by CBP policies and procedures for employment prior to beginning work with CBP.
