[Wattpad] Product Manager

What You'll Do:

Work with a multi-functional team to create, evolve and maintain multiple products across the platform

Manage the product roadmap and ensure priorities are aligned with Wattpad's broader strategy

Be responsible for hitting goals in line with the Wattpad’s strategy

Facilitate a strong product discovery process around understanding users, partners and stakeholder needs constantly validating hypotheses

Work closely with our engineering teams to better define, implement and iterate on solutions together

Seek to deeply understand how readers engage with the platform, clearly define and prioritize challenges and opportunities to ensure we are working on the right things at the right time

Work closely with the product management team to ensure a cohesive and integrated product experience that meets the needs of our users, while supporting each other’s development across the practice

Build strong relationships across the company to help solve problems together

Required Qualifications:

At least 2-4 years of professional experience as a product manager

Experience and understanding of technology systems

Have strong product instincts about getting from a user pain point to an underlying problem

Passion for the power of storytelling

Excellent leadership and communications skills, with experience managing a variety of stakeholders

Data-driven/analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks and prioritize them and work comfortably in forecasts and revenue predictions

Natural curiosity with a thirst to validate assumptions with data, insight and peer discussions to inform yourself better

Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business, or UX Design an asset
