The successful candidate will be expected to quickly absorb and apply the investment process, producing consistent, high-quality outputs aligned with the team’s approach.

Be comfortable balancing broad research coverage with targeted deep dives. The role requires coverage of a diverse universe of corporate credits across 80+ EM countries (IG and HY), 10+ sectors spanning corporates and financials, and all levels of the capital structure, while also conducting in-depth analysis of specific credit situations when warranted.

Perform rigorous analytical work, including corporate credit analysis, assessment of sovereign linkages, and evaluation of structural and contractual features of individual instruments across public and private debt markets. Maintain and regularly update proprietary financial and credit models.

Conduct robust due diligence through a variety of information sources, including meetings with company management teams, discussions with sell-side and independent industry analysts, and ongoing review of industry publications and relevant market data.

Communicate analysis clearly and concisely through credit opinion write-ups, investment committee presentations, and other formats. Demonstrate the ability to present effectively to both internal and external audiences, tailoring content and delivery to the context and level of expertise of the audience.

Effectively collaborate in a small collegial team environment. The successful candidate must be a proactive self-starter with the initiative and ability to work independently, while also partnering effectively with teammates and contributing to a collaborative research culture.

General Requirements:

Education: A strong undergraduate or graduate degree is required. Coursework or experience in corporate finance and financial statement analysis is highly desirable. Business-related degrees are welcome, as is CFA designation or progress toward the charter.

Experience: 3-8 years of relevant industry experience is required. Candidates from a variety of backgrounds will be considered, including investment management, sell-side research, corporate or investment banking, rating agencies, and multilateral development institutions.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analytical work into clear, concise, and actionable insights for a range of audiences.

Work and Professional Skills: Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly and efficiently. Intellectual curiosity, humility, sound judgment, and a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to work are essential. Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality results. The successful candidate will be able to perform analytical work in a rigorous, repeatable manner aligned with the team’s investment philosophy and process
