January 2027 Projects/Civil Engineering Co-op

In this role, you will:

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

Seeking ways to improve our process by collaborating with the engineering team, operations and consultants on new process development, quality assurance initiatives, day-to-day troubleshooting, and evaluation test work

Support the Project Management team in evaluating vendor proposals, progressing designs, completing the project framework documents, support RFP's, scheduling, cost control, construction execution and commissioning

Participate in multi-disciplinary professional teams, support activity projects, prepare and deliver environmental awareness materials to employees

Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business

Requirements:

Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Civil or Projects Engineering or Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Materials Engineering with a passion for project based work

Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel

Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and a solid understanding of AutoCAD and Solidworks would be advantageous
