About the role
Key responsibilities for the role
Manufacturing Operations
Lead & manage Global contract manufacturing operations, balancing cost, quality and scale. Input into global supplier customization of new products for Global requirements.
Owns the manufacturing engineering & strategy including site selection, transfer projects, capacity planning, and operational risk management
Identifies segment improvement areas to reduce time-to-market, cost, quality improvement
Foster strong Global supplier and manufacturing partner relationships to ensure reliability, agility & continCorporates improvement.
Quality Management
Introduce a Global Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure global alignment to ISO and regulatory/customer standards
Establish, monitor, report on quality KPIs, lead initiatives to drive product quality/defect resolution
Conduct manufacturing and supplier audits to assess & ensure compliance to quality standards.
Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to address systemic quality issues.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure products meet all applicable regulatory, environmental, & safety standards across all segments (e.g., UL, CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH).
Champion compliance initiatives including training, documentation & certification management
Proactively identify and mitigate operational, quality, and compliance risks in the supply chain and manufacturing network.
Leadership and Strategy
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Global manufacturing and quality team
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, & Commercial teams to align manufacturing and quality initiatives with business goals
Define and manage Corporate budgets related to manufacturing, quality & compliance functions
Provide strategic leadership in scaling operations to support business growth, including entry into new markets or technologies across the business
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field (Master’s preferred)
20+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing process and quality management
Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence principles
Proven track record of managing complex production transfers and global supplier networks.
Strong knowledge of international product compliance standards and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
Deep understanding of digital signage, product safety and certification, contract manufacturing, and product life cycle management.
Sound knowledge of ERP transactional processes which support PtP, Demand To Build & QTC processes
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Toolsets (especially SharePoint & Teams collaboration apps) & Engineering CAD tools
