About the role
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Workflow Logic: Own the end-to-end document journey—from early customer lead to final paid invoice. Translate high-stakes business challenges into seamless, growth-oriented product strategies.
Job Costing & Profitability: Build features that give Pros clear, real-time visibility into how Change Orders, Purchase Orders, and scope adjustments impact overall project margins.
Data & System Integrity: Ensure financial documents and transaction flows maintain strict data accuracy, clear logic, and align seamlessly with the platform’s unified data model.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Payments, Reporting, Accounting and Core Platform teams to streamline document automation and deliver unified business insights to our pros.
Execution Excellence: Write crisp PRDs, manage backlogs, and lead sprint planning to ship high-impact features that boost Pro efficiency and retention.
Data-Driven Growth: Define and track core performance metrics such as feature adoption, document completion speed, and workflow conversion rates.
Customer Empathy & UX Clarity: Partner directly with Product Design and our Pros to turn multi-step, administrative processes into intuitive, frictionless experiences that Pros love using every day.
At a Minimum, We’d Like You To Have
Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience owning complex, multi-step B2B SaaS workflows.
Collaborative Leadership: Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Support) to drive complex initiatives forward.
Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to leverage quantitative data and product analytics to optimize user journeys and system performance.
Systems Thinking: Strong aptitude for data modeling, workflow logic, status transitions, and handling edge cases across complex platform architecture.
Global Collaboration: Willingness to work flexible hours to collaborate effectively with global development teams and international customers.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Accounting Logic: A baseline understanding of US business accounting workflows, job costing, or sales tax concepts.
Financial & Business SaaS Background: Experience with invoicing, AP/AR workflows, billing, or ERP integrations (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Domain Context: Familiarity with the home construction, remodeling, or trade business operations.
