About the role

Duties & Responsibilities

Design and own the ESG reporting framework, aligned with ISO 14001 and global standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFC Performance Standards)

Prepare quarterly and annual ESG metrics reporting to meet the requirements of international lenders and investors, including delivery against agreed ESG action plans.

Deliver accurate, timely ESG reports for internal, regulatory, and investor audiences

Partner with teams across the business to source, verify, and consolidate ESG data

Influence operations to integrate ESG into day-to-day processes and decision-making

Develop ESG-related policies, procedures, and data collection tools

Lead the ISO 14001 certification process, coordinate audits, and ensure ongoing compliance

Serve as the central contact point for ESG matters, internally and externally

Communicate progress and risks to executives, regulators, and partners

Monitor ESG performance, identify opportunities, and support management in setting goals

Anticipate evolving regulations and investor expectations to keep the company future-ready

Qualifications

7+ years’ experience in ESG reporting, sustainability, or environmental & social performance, ideally in telecom, infrastructure, or adjacent industries

Familiarity with GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFC Performance Standards and other ESG frameworks

Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 audits and compliance

Track record of engaging stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams

Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to translate ESG data for technical, executive, and external audiences

Strong cross-cultural collaboration skills – able to work effectively with diverse teams, and adapt communication styles across cultural contexts

Good-to-haves

Experience with GHG Protocol reporting and/or Science-Based Targets (SBTi) alignment

Familiarity with ESG reporting platforms (e.g., Workiva, Enablon, Sphera, Datamaran)

Exposure to supplier ESG assessments and sustainability due diligence

Experience contributing to integrated reports or sustainability reports for investors

Familiarity with materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement best practices

Understanding of governance risk areas such as anti-corruption, compliance, and data privacy
