About the role
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft).
Design and implement event-driven architecture using Platform Events, ensuring scalable, decoupled integrations and real-time data exchange across Salesforce and external systems.
Support and enhance Salesforce CPQ and Billing configurations to streamline quote-to-cash processes.
Optimize performance, security, and usability of Salesforce applications.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities using CI/CD tools like Git and Copado.
Maintain technical documentation including solution designs and development standards.
Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend platform improvements.
Work closely with Salesforce Administrators to ensure alignment with configuration and automation best practices.
Provide support and troubleshooting for production issues and user-reported bugs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
Experience with Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Billing modules.
Familiarity with integration patterns and middleware platforms.
Solid understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and automation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Developer II or CPQ Specialist preferred.
Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments with JIRA.
Exposure to quote-to-cash, billing, or financial process automation.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and deployment pipelines.
Exposure with Snowflake, Datadog, or Certinia Applications would be a plus.
