About the role

About the position

Reporting to the Events Director, the Conference Program Manager will play a key role in c onference content coordination, speaker management, program committee support and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior representatives from government institutions, military organizations, space agencies, industry leaders, sponsors and international partners to ensure the successful delivery of high-level conferences and executive events within the global space and defense ecosystem.

Responsibilities include

Lead the development and delivery of conference and event programs , ensuring high-quality content and an engaging participant experience.

Build and manage relationships with senior-level speakers, industry leaders, institutional representatives and strategic partners.

Develop compelling conference agendas by identifying key industry trends, market developments and audience interests.

Oversee speaker recruitment , engagement, preparation and coordination throughout the event lifecycle.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure program objectives align with broader business and commercial goals.

Manage timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications to ensure the successful execution of multiple events and projects.

Support partnership, sponsorship and business development activities through stakeholder engagement and industry networking.

Continuously evaluate event performance and recommend improvements to enhance content quality, audience value and overall event impact.

Professional qualifications & Experience

Master's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the organization of international conferences , congresses, forums, or executive-level events.

Proven experience working with both public-sector stakeholders (government institutions, agencies, associations) and private-sector organizations.

Experience in conference program management, speaker coordination, and stakeholder engagement is a strong asset.

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strategic problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

Languages

Fluency in English , both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Knowledge of French is a strong asset.

Additional languages are a plus.
