About the role
What will you need to succeed?
Positive attitude and work ethic.
High School graduate or equivalent. A mechanical/technical/vocational school background or experience is a plus.
A valid Missouri motor vehicle operator's license. A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with tanker endorsement is a plus.
The ability to perform manual labor. Must be able to lift or move up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
Minimum of 1-year relevant experience or combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge of the repair and maintenance of wastewater collection systems.
Knowledge of the operation and preventative maintenance of a variety of equipment.
Skilled in the use of a variety of hand and power tools.
Skilled in oral and written communication.
NASSCO (National Association of Sewer Service Companies) certification, or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months.
Class A CDL with Air Brakes and tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
Participate in an on-call rotation and assist others with after hour calls.
Be able to work in inclement weather.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen before employment.

Perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, odor, depth and visual cues or signals.
