About the role
Work proactively to prevent order delays and problem-solve inventory challenges
Communicate with our Order Fulfillment Team to yield on-time delivery and ensure that promise dates are met
Continuously provide feedback to prevent issues from occurring and suggest process updates
Be mindful of time-sensitive orders and provide a solution within a reasonable time frame
Work together with Inbound departments to know when new styles and sizes are being received, repaired, and returned
Search for Hot Items on the warehouse floor in Returns, Inspection & Damage locations
Flag incoming orders to expedite the dry cleaning Process order kick-outs to verify the correct shipping method and items ordered
Monitor put walls and fix issues to ensure orders are packed within 60 minutes
Use Highjump to check for priority orders and expedite packing to meet critical pull times
Execute End of Shift reporting daily
Ensure all team members adhere to company SOP's and safety procedures
Maintain TBT policies and cultural values
Maintain a clean work area and address safety hazards with the maintenance manager
Assist with picking, packing, and sorting, as needed during non-peak seasons
Provide on-the-job training and support for new hires
Promote continuous improvement throughout the organization
Maintain positive and professional communication with the management team
Understand and be able to learn industry-specific technology
Position Requirements
May be required to work mandatory overtime or weekends as needed by the business to meet demands during peak and off-peak seasons
Ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds in a physical environment
Ability to stand, reach, walk, ascend/descend ladders or bend for extended periods of time throughout a shift, excluding breaks
Sustained, repetitive arm/hand/finger movements for the handling, processing, preparation, repair of inventory and fulfillment of customer orders
Who You Are
1-2+ years of experience as a warehouse associate and/or ambassador or similar role is required
Bilingual a plus, but not required
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld devices (RF)
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail Distribution Center environment
Analytical thinker; able to solve problems quickly and effectively
Experience and complete understanding of Lean and 5S concepts are a big plus
Apparel industry, menswear and/or startup experience a plus
Excellent planning skills and ability to collaborate with all teams
Great organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
Working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Drive
