In this role you will:

Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

Implement and support technical standards and best practices, to ensure compliance with HSEC & HR initiatives.

Support and influence leaders and teams across the organization on applying technical standards effectively, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring as required.

Support equipment performance investigations and coordinate issue resolution with vendors and site teams

Evaluate and improve systems, processes, and tools to strengthen maintenance performance

Contribute to maintenance projects and corporate initiatives

Provide occasional supervisory support as needed to maintain operational continuity

Requirements:

A related Engineering degree, Journeyperson’s ticket, or technical Diploma in a related subject area, or a combination of relevant education and experience in mining or heavy industry

Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of initiatives

Strong understanding of maintenance standards, reliability and regulatory compliance requirements within the mining industry.

Experience in implementing technical standards, procedures, or corporate compliance programs.

Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement as well as strong organisational and project coordination skills

Strong leadership and influencing skills in a multi-site environment

Familiarity with CMMS systems and how they support maintenance compliance and reporting.

Excellent communication, relationship building, coaching, and change management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite®, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

Project Management Professional (PMP) or Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification is an asset.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
