RIVERSIDE EUROPE
Riverside’s activities in Europe are concentrated around five offices: Brussels, Munich, Luxembourg, Stockholm, and Madrid, with about 30 investment, origination, and operating professionals. Riverside is investing from its seventh European vintage and has more than €13 billion of assets under management. Deal flow is strong across its target regions in Europe and its four industry specializations: Software & Technology, Consumer, Healthcare, and Specialty Manufacturing & Distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Riverside is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Intern to join our Brussels-based investment team for a six-month internship starting in January 2027 . The Riverside European Fund operates from five offices across Brussels, Munich, Stockholm, Madrid and Luxembourg. The fund focuses on control buyouts of European companies with EBITDA ranging from approximately €5 million to €20 million, primarily in the following sectors: Software & Technology, Consumer, Healthcare, and Specialty Manufacturing & Distribution. As an intern in our Brussels office, you will:
Be an integral part of a close-knit team of investment professionals and be fully involved in daily operations
Gain hands-on experience in deal analysis and valuation techniques (e.g. LBO modeling)
Support the team in evaluating industry trends, sourcing new investment opportunities, identifying add-on acquisitions, and preparing investment memoranda
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and their practical application
Basic knowledge of private equity principles and investment logic
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and multi-tasking capabilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Superior writing and analytical abilities
A critical and creative mindset for research
A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative spirit
Strong consideration will be made for candidates that have previous experience in strategy consulting, investment banking or VC/PE investment experience.
