RIVERSIDE EUROPE

The Riverside Europe Fund is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity intern to join our Madrid-based investment team for a minimum six-month internship starting from September 2026 to January 2027, or January 2027 to July 2027. The fund focuses on control buyouts of European companies with EBITDA ranging from approximately €5 million to €20 million, primarily in the following sectors: Software & IT, Specialty Manufacturing & Distribution, Healthcare, and Consumer. The Riverside Europe Fund operates from five offices across Brussels, Luxembourg, Madrid, Munich and Stockholm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an intern in our Madrid office, you will

Be an integral part of a close-knit team of investment professionals and be fully involved in daily operations

Engage in various aspects of deal origination and execution

Conduct industry and market research to identify attractive investment sectors and potential targets

Gain hands-on experience in deal analysis and valuation techniques (e.g. CTA, CCA, LBO modeling)

Assist with the preparation of investment committee materials and internal presentations

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Currently enrolled in an advanced semester or recently graduated from a leading university with a focus on Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related fields

Prior experience as an intern in private equity, investment banking/M&A or strategy consulting

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with an understanding of financial statements and valuation methods

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Fluency in Spanish and English

Authorized to work in Spain
