About the role

Windows Administrator #1062

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required. DHS Secret Clearance required. Candidates with dual citizenship cannot be considered per government requirements.

Location: Full-time onsite in Colorado Springs

Dev Technology is seeking a Senior Windows Administrator to join our team. As a Senior Windows Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based servers and systems. Your role will involve managing server infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the reliability and security of the Windows environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Administer and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and patch management

Monitor and alert on the health and status of all infrastructure hardware and software components

Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure performance and reliability

Providing incident response support to include break/fix, restoration of service, and provisioning of services.

Develop and maintain patching and upgrade plans

Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and SOPs

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness by implementing appropriate backup and restoration strategies

Install, configure, and troubleshoot the local and wide area network applications, including software development tools and operating systems

Management, maintenance, and support of all Backup & Restore platforms, hardware, and software

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

This is an on-site position at a government facility

An Active Secret Clearance is required

This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime

Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule, if required

7 or more years of experience in the following:

Dell Intel-based servers

HP Intel-based servers

MS domain infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Network Policy Server

MS Windows 10

McAfee Antivirus

Symantec Endpoint Protection

Veritas NetBackup 8.12

Our estimated salary range for this position is $65,600-$78,000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education, experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role. *Salary could fall outside of this range.
