About the Role

Anaplan is seeking a Senior IT Technical Program Manager to join the team. This role serves as a delivery lead across IT programs and initiatives, including Enterprise Applications, the AI Readiness Program, and other strategic workstreams. The TPM will work across IT functions as needed, owning end-to-end program delivery and driving cross-functional alignment from intake through implementation.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in enterprise IT project delivery, a structured approach to stakeholder management, and the ability to operate across both strategic planning and hands-on execution. This person will collaborate closely with IT leadership, Communications, Finance, and People teams, and will be expected to drive clarity, accountability, and momentum across complex, multi-workstream programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise AI Initiatives

Serve as the primary project manager for Enterprise AI Initiatives, coordinating workstreams across IT, Communications, Finance Transformation, and People functions to ensure structured, governed delivery from intake through implementation

Maintain comprehensive program plans, RAID logs, decision registers, and status reporting cadences across all active AI workstreams

Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, track action items, and ensure milestones are met on time and within scope across concurrent AI use case deliveries

Ensure Enterprise AI Initiatives, including the AI Readiness Program, follow established intake, scoring, and governance processes covering use case prioritization, approval workflows, and lifecycle management

Coordinate AI use case teams across Technical Leads, Change Management representatives, and Financial Flexibility Leads to drive accountability and progress at the workstream level

Track and report on AI initiative performance metrics including adoption, productivity impact, and value realization in support of enterprise savings targets

Surface blockers, escalate risks, and drive resolution across program stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum

Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives for AI initiative workstreams, ensuring consistent cadence and iterative progress toward delivery milestones

IT Project Portfolio Management

Manage a portfolio of IT initiatives spanning Enterprise Applications, employee-facing technology, support model improvements, and digital workplace enhancements across the IT organization

Define project scope, success criteria, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with IT leadership

Coordinate with platform owners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure delivery alignment across all active workstreams

Maintain a consolidated view of portfolio health, surfacing dependencies and conflicts proactively

Governance and Reporting

Produce executive-ready project status updates, steering committee materials, and program dashboards

Ensure projects adhere to established intake, scoring, and lifecycle governance processes, applying AI Readiness Program standards to applicable Enterprise AI workstreams

Maintain documentation standards across all managed initiatives, including project charters, decision logs, and closure reports

Deliver structured stakeholder communications on a recurring cadence: weekly status updates for active workstreams, monthly program summaries for IT leadership, and quarterly reviews for executive and cross-functional stakeholders

Stakeholder and Change Management

Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across IT, business functions, and external vendors

Support change management activities including communications planning, training coordination, and adoption tracking in partnership with the People and Communications teams

Act as a trusted point of contact for project stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and ensuring alignment at every phase

Qualifications:

Required

6 to 9 years of experience in technical project management within an enterprise IT environment

Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple concurrent workstreams

Strong command of Agile and sprint-based delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience running sprint ceremonies and managing iterative delivery cycles alongside Waterfall or hybrid approaches

Proficiency with project and work management platforms such as ServiceNow, Wrike, Jira, or equivalent

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience producing materials for senior and executive audiences

Proven ability to manage ambiguity, navigate organizational complexity, and maintain delivery momentum without direct authority

Ability to work in a hybrid, globally distributed team environment with availability to maintain core working hour overlap through at least 12:00 PM EST to support cross-regional collaboration

Preferred

PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification

Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, particularly ServiceNow

Exposure to AI program governance, adoption tracking, or enterprise AI rollouts

Experience supporting change management or internal communications workstreams as part of broader program delivery

Prior experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth enterprise environment

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days:

Full ownership of the Enterprise AI Initiatives project portfolio, with status reporting cadence established, governance applied, and key stakeholders aligned

Clear portfolio view of all active IT initiatives across functions, with risks and dependencies documented

Relationships established with key cross-functional partners across IT, Communications, Finance, and People

Governance and documentation standards applied consistently across managed workstreams
