Position Overview

Aksia is seeking an Analyst to conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative monitoring across strategies, and fund managers. This person will contribute to Aksia’s data-driven views through their work and will support our global efforts for risk transparency and database analysis.

This role will be within Aksia’s Private Markets Risk team, a group responsible for conducting detailed qualitative and quantitative monitoring on private credit, private equity, real estate, and real assets funds and to a lesser extent private equity and private credit co-investments across Aksia’s client universe.

This position is based in Aksia’s Athens office and will include regular interaction with global colleagues.

Responsibilities

Interacting with fund managers to gather investment statistics / data about their funds and investments.

Analyzing fund performance, portfolio positioning and risk exposures.

Leading the data gathering process, including assisting colleagues and managers in responding to Aksia data requests.

Cleaning and processing large volumes of data to identify trends in performance, client reporting, and market-wide analysis.

Providing support on clients’ requests.

Qualifications

0-1 years of experience in alternative asset valuation, finance, accounting, or related field

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business or another related field preferred

Verbal and written fluency in English

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong work ethic with a high degree of initiative, commitment, and drive

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Positive and proactive attitude team player
