Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Tech Recruiting team is fuelling Stripe’s regional growth by aligning world-class engineering talent with our most critical business challenges. We don’t just hire, we integrate Stripe’s operating principles into every interaction, ensuring a candidate experience that is as seamless as our products. By blending data-driven insights with compelling storytelling, we serve as strategic advisors to our leaders and shape the future of Stripe.
What you’ll do
To support our long-term objectives in the region, we are seeking a strategic partner to scale our Technology teams across APAC. In this role, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle while advising leadership on talent strategy and market insights. We are looking for colleagues who value a continuous learning environment and are committed to improving our processes through thoughtful experimentation and collaborative feedback.
Responsibilities
Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and cross-functional teams, including Compensation, People, Finance, Recruiting Operations, and business leaders, to align on hiring priorities and deliver against headcount plans.
Work closely with stakeholders to translate changing business needs into practical recruiting plans, clear ownership, and timely actions.
Lead the day-to-day execution of recruiting plans, including sourcing, candidate outreach, interview process management, offer support, and closing.
Stay agile as hiring priorities, business needs, and market conditions change. Identify risks early, adjust plans quickly, and keep stakeholders aligned on trade-offs and next steps.
Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, employee referrals, recruiting events, and local talent-market outreach.
Share regular, data-informed updates on hiring progress, pipeline health, risks, and opportunities. Use stakeholder feedback and hiring data to improve execution and candidate experience.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
You have 6 - 10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house experience strongly preferred)
Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates in Taiwan.
You have experience partnering with tech hiring teams throughout the recruiting process, acting as an effective hiring partner and trusted advisor
You possess great written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external candidates.
You demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to navigate complex, evolving environments with a high degree of autonomy.
You take a data-driven approach to recruiting, using market trends and internal metrics to refine your strategy and improve process efficiency.
