Junior Fullstack Engineer

Robots & Pencils is seeking a Junior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing team. You'll contribute to building a greenfield web application alongside an experienced dev team, helping ship real features to real users. This is a great opportunity for a commercially experienced developer to grow in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.

In February 2025, we opened our new office in Lviv, Ukraine, as part of our ongoing global growth. You'll collaborate with a distributed team working on high-impact products with colleagues across North and South America and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Implement frontend features in React (built on RadixUI) with clean, maintainable code.

Contribute to C#/.NET backend development and RESTful APIs.

Work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to understand requirements and success criteria.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA reviews.

Communicate progress and blockers clearly in an agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–3 years of commercial software development experience.

Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend tooling.

Working knowledge of C# and .NET backend development.

Familiarity with component libraries (experience with RadixUI or similar is a plus).

Understanding of REST APIs and client–server architecture.

Experience working in agile/scrum teams with CI/CD workflows.

Upper-intermediate English, written and spoken.

Nice to Have

Experience with TypeScript.

Exposure to design systems and accessibility best practices.

Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
