We are seeking an entry level Installation Technician to join our growing field team. This is a strong opportunity to start a career in a high-demand technical trade , gain hands-on experience, and grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

*** Travel Required: 85% travel with overnight stays ***

What You’ll Do

Assist with installation of low-voltage systems , including CCTV and access control

Pull wire, mount devices, and support basic system setup

Safely operate hand tools, ladders, and lifts on job sites

Help maintain inventory, tools, and job site organization

Learn to read blueprints, layouts, and job plans

Follow all safety standards and company protocols

Communicate with your team to ensure projects stay on track

What You Bring

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license

Preferred (Not Required

Exposure to construction, electrical, or low-voltage work

Interest in technology, security systems, or networking

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This role requires working in a wide variety of environments, including construction sites, manufacturing plants, apartments, and outdoor settings in all weather conditions. You must be comfortable with:

Working at heights and using ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts

Walking 5–10 miles per day

Lifting and carrying 75–100 lbs

Standing for long periods and operating heavy equipment

Travel

What you can expect

Competitive pay $16-$19/hr DOE + additional 14-20% per hr for travel assignments

Travel Logistics: Flights and lodging booked by DSI; supervisors keep airline & hotel points.

Per Diem: $50 per day
