THE OPPORTUNITY
Iron Bow is looking for a Project Assistant to support the refresh team coordinating PC Refresh activities and other project tasks in support for the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) initiative.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
Maintain and monitor refresh / project plans and schedules
Ensure refresh / project deadlines and SLAs are met
Participate in daily PCR Team refresh meetings
Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Assist in developing PC Refresh strategies and standard set of tasks that can be used by the PC Refresh Team
Ensure all refresh/project documentation is maintained appropriately
Additional tasks as required
SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS
You have an Associate's degree + 1-2 years' experience as a Project Assistant; experience can be substituted for education
You’ve been responsible managing large scale orders and corresponding communications
You’ve spent your career managing smaller projects with 1-2 stakeholders
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Adhering to regulations and performance obligations within contractual agreements is just another day on the job for you.
You possess strong executive presence, polish, communication skills and emotional intelligence. (Ability to host and conduct meetings.)
People naturally gravitate to you and want to work for you. Leadership is your middle name.
You have vast experience applying proper program management principles and practices.
You have prior experience of managing multiple deadlines
You have demonstrated the ability to utilize Google map

Up to 25% travel may be required for this role.

Compensation and Benefit Information
The salary range for this position is $ 20-26.50 /hr. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
