Project Description

The project focuses on transforming and expanding an enterprise data platform. The Data Engineer will help build and scale a Snowflake-based platform and migrate existing Alteryx workflows into governed, production-ready data products. The initial phase focuses on Treasury and Finance, with additional business domains expected to follow.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain data pipelines and data products in Snowflake;

Develop data transformation logic using dbt;

Support the migration of existing Alteryx workflows to the new data platform;

Build and maintain orchestration workflows using Dagster or Airflow;

Validate data outputs and investigate discrepancies;

Troubleshoot issues related to business logic and data transformations;

Implement data quality checks and monitoring;

Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, and Data Governance teams;

Participate in technical design discussions;

Use Cursor and LLM-based tools in the day-to-day engineering workflow;

Job Requirements

4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with strong hands-on experience with Snowflake;

Practical experience with dbt;

Experience with Dagster, Airflow, or comparable orchestration tools;

Strong SQL and data modeling skills;

Understanding of data quality and monitoring practices;

Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines;

Experience with AI-assisted development using Cursor or similar tools;

English proficiency at B2 level or higher;

Snowflake certification would be a plus;

Availability for substantial overlap with US Central Time, especially from 2:00 PM CST onward, is a plus;
