HR People Partner

Warsaw Office with occasional travel

Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home

The Ebury Global People Partner team forms part of Ebury’s Global HR team. Our team is responsible for managing employee experience across the employment lifecycle, acting as an advisor to managers and employees. People Partners are the link between Ebury’s strategic plan and day to day people operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to hold a stand alone HR business partnering role, focusing initially on Poland and then extending your remit to include other countries as Ebury grows. Our Poland branch is one of Ebury's long-established and highest performing operations with a fantastic management team and positive office environment.

Please note, this is a highly operational HR role so will suit someone who is hands on, pragmatic and able to apply a highly commercial mindset.

What you’ll do

Working in partnership with the country manager, line managers and senior leaders along with our colleagues across the HR team, you’ll be responsible for providing advice, coaching and support to managers and employees, looking for opportunities to improve employee experience and retention.

Working with Talent Acquisition, HR People Operations, Global Business Services and the line manager, you will help to facilitate employee onboarding, taking accountability for their induction experience from Day 1 and beyond.

As the employee lifecycle continues, you will ensure employees receive a positive pay-day experience every month in addition to providing support and guidance to the management team with ongoing performance management and to the employee as they develop their career with Ebury.

At the point of offboarding, you will ensure that this is managed respectfully, ensuring exit interviews are conducted to learn more about how we can improve the working environment.

What you’ll need

Proven experience as an HR advisor or junior HRBP, preferably in a fast-paced, complex organisation.

Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related fields is preferred.

Strong knowledge of Poland employment legislation and its practical application in a business environment.

Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.

High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Experience managing monthly Payroll inputs to ensure that employees receive a positive pay day experience.

Experience in an international or multi-site environment, to assist new jurisdiction within your Ebury career development

Familiarity with HR technology and systems (e.g., HiBOB)

Organised with strong attention to detail

Fluent English and Polish

Ability to handle ambiguity and change with a resilient mindset
