Inspector

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Techno is seeking an Inspector to support a project with NYCDEP, NR-111. This individual will oversee construction activities to ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and NYCDEP requirements.

Inspect daily construction activities for compliance with contract documents and quality standards.

Monitor contractor work, document field observations, and maintain accurate daily reports.

Verify materials, quantities, and workmanship meet project specifications.

Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and NYCDEP representatives to resolve field issues.

Promote a safe work environment and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline preferred.

Experience inspecting civil, utility, water, sewer, or infrastructure construction projects.

Knowledge of construction methods, plans, specifications, and inspection procedures.

Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

NYCDEP project experience is preferred.

Experience working on fresh water reservoir projects or water treatment/storage facilities.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $45-$65/hr . Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
