Specialty Electrical Systems Engineer

n Logic is seeking a Specialty Electrical Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused effort in the Huntsville area. This role will play a key part as an individual contributor in supporting mission-defense efforts. The Specialty Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for developing automation related software development products at the system level to support automation and test verifications activities.

Responsibilities

Developing automation related software development products in support of test and verification tasks and requirements

Required Qualifications

Must possess a current, in-scope Secret or higher security clearance

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of related experience, a Masters Degree and 3+ years of related experience, or 1+ year of related experience with a PhD

Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) assessments.

Experience with software architecture and design

Experience with the development and verification of RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) requirements.

Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS

Applicants must possess good communication skills.

Applicants must demonstrate ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions.

Capable of working both independently and within a team environment

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience within Reliability and Maintainability discipline

Experience with risk analysis and risk management

Experience within a missile-defense or missile systems program
