We’re looking for an Account Manage r at Lightspeed, you'll join our APAC Hospitality Sales team and you will be responsible for managing inbound sales for our hospitality venues based in the APAC market. Your role will be working closely with a large range of merchants to build rapport, understand their objectives and ensure they’re getting the best solution possible to help them achieve their goals.

What you’ll be doing

Act as a trusted Account Manager to customers who inquire about further Lightspeed offerings, to understand their requirements and provide solutions that add value to the customer, tailoring recommendations to the customers needs and preferences

Build trust and rapport and demonstrate active listening to support your focus of upselling and maximising account growth in every customer interaction

Guide qualifying customers through their upgrade path from basic platforms to more advanced platforms

Demonstrate software solutions to customers, from core POS products to modules and upgrades

Responsible for reactive upsell from inbound sales and expansion monthly recurring revenue

Building strong retailer advocacy, increasing hospitality owners empathy and understanding throughout the company

Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role

What you need to bring

You will be stepping into a supportive and collaborative team who celebrate not only team but also individual success.

Experience in an account management, sales development representative or similar role carrying a sales quota

Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment

Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline

Entrepreneurial approach; you work smarter not harder

Good time management with strong organisational skills
