About the Role

GBS Account Managers collaborate with Brokers and support staff in the service of employee benefits business. Responsible for establishing and maintaining a proactive service plan for clients, providing excellent customer service, ensuring departmental and client needs are met. Must handle complex client issues and make recommendations by utilizing client service, administration expertise and carrier resources. Supports the Broker on activities required for a smooth transition and/or implementation of new business while simultaneously ensuring the retention of current clients.

Responsibilities

Assist with new business and manage renewals of current business.

Manage internal and external relationships effectively.

Meet deadlines and remain collaborative and flexible.

Manage renewal processes for clients and work with carriers to ensure accurate and timely information.

Maintain proactive client communication and support.

Liaison with internal staff and operations.

Prepare, assist, and attend internal and external client meetings.

Perform detailed review of client documents and communications.

Address client needs and troubleshoot claims, risks, and billing issues.

Requirements

Benefits experience: Minimum of 1 year

Experience with a PC, proficient in MS Office

Strong knowledge of Employee Benefits

Health, Life & Disability Insurance License

Strong communication and organizational skills

Technology proficiency: Comfortable working with modern tools and AI

Licensing: Must already hold an active insurance license or be able to obtain one

Work Environment: This role is in-office 4 days a week.
