Environmental Project Geologist or Scientist

What you will be doing at Woodard & Curran:

Collecting soil, groundwater, and other environmental media samples to support site investigation and remediation objectives.

Installing monitoring wells, performing remediation monitoring, and overseeing contractors.

Assist field investigations and provide construction oversight by following safety policies, thoroughly understanding specifications, and documenting contractor activities and safety procedures.

Assisting in preparing various regulatory submittals, technical memoranda, and/or reports.

Manage, analyze, evaluate, and interpret data for use in reports and other visualizations, including maps, charts, and 3D models.

Candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong technical fieldwork and writing skills to support various science and engineering projects.

Detail-oriented, have excellent verbal communication skills combined with a positive attitude, and can work independently and within teams.

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field from an accredited program. M.S. preferred.

A minimum of 5 and up to 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Experience working around construction equipment and/or in a construction environment is a plus.

Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, ArcGIS, CAD, or database software, preferred.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in developing and implementing project work plans, schedules, and budgets is a plus.

40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
