Your Mission

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Expert Watches to grow and strengthen our presence in the Japanese watch market. This role combines deep horological expertise with strong sales and relationship-building capabilities.

You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality watch consignments, developing partnerships with sellers and dealers, and ensuring that all curated items meet our quality and pricing standards.

What You’ll Do

Watch Expertise & Curation

Evaluate, authenticate, and curate watches for auction, ensuring high-quality standards

Provide accurate pricing guidance aligned with market trends and platform strategy

Advise sellers on lot composition, descriptions, and presentation to maximize performance

Monitor auction results and continuously refine pricing and selection strategy

Business Development & Sales

Guide and train sellers on pricing, including expected sale ranges and defining competitive price points to maximize auction performance.

Proactively source new sellers, dealers, and collections within the Japanese market

Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and high-value clients

Drive consignment volume and quality through active outreach and networking

Identify market opportunities and contribute to local growth strategy

Market & Stakeholder Management

Act as a local market expert, providing insights on trends, brands, and buyer behavior

Represent the company at events, trade shows, and industry gatherings

Collaborate with internal teams (category & sales management, marketing, customer service) to optimize performance

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in the watch industry (e.g., dealer, auction house, specialist, or collector-level expertise)

Strong commercial mindset with experience in sales, business development, or account management

Deep knowledge of watch brands, models, pricing, and market dynamics

Established network within the Japanese watch ecosystem is a strong plus

Excellent communication and negotiation skills in japanese and preferably in english

Fluent in Japanese (spoken and written)

Advanced in English (spoken and written)

Ability to work in an international environment and communicate with global teams

Where You’ll Be

This is a 100% remote role based in Japan , with daily collaboration with teams in Japan and across Europe.
