Your Mission

As an Expert for Tintin, Dutch and Traditional Comics, you will manage and curate high-quality auctions for the Netherlands and Belgium region. Your mission is to use your market knowledge and network to create compelling auctions that attract bidders and ensure a fair and transparent experience for sellers and buyers.

By combining commercial insight with subject matter expertise, you will strengthen the quality, relevance, and performance of your auctions.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate and arrange comic book lots submitted by users, ensuring quality and relevance

Create attractive and engaging lot listings on a weekly basis

Review lot titles, descriptions, and images, and provide accurate value estimates

Maintain fairness and transparency by accepting or rejecting submissions in a professional manner

Curate auctions that attract bidders and drive strong performance

Collaborate with the Sales team to attract new sellers and diversify the auction selection

Partner with the Marketing team to increase bidder attention and engagement

What You’ll Bring

Passion and expertise in Comics, with strong knowledge of the industry

Excellent commercial skills, including proven negotiation and relationship-building experience

Strong network within the Comics industry

Ability to work autonomously and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Good computer skills

Good command of Dutch and English, preferably French

This is a remote role that can be based from The Netherlands or Belgium.

Our Offices and Way of Working

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
